Though NDs are trained as primary care providers, we're not authorized to practice as such in Colorado. While Dr. Devin addresses similar conditions to primary care doctors, we highly recommend patients have a primary care physician. There may be instances where prescriptions or diagnostic tests beyond our scope are necessary, requiring a primary care doctor's involvement. We cannot fulfill requests for sports physical forms, vaccine administration, worker’s comp forms, etc.

Terra Soma Wellness LLC is a fee-for-service business and is not contracted with any insurance carriers, and Dr. Garfinkle is not a Medicare provider. Therefore, Terra Soma Wellness cannot and does not accept or bill insurance or Medicare, or submit claims for any services provided. All payment is due at the time of service.
Upon request, Dr. Garfinkle can provide you with a statement showing your payment and a coded superbill that you may submit to your insurance company (not Medicare) for possible reimbursement at an out-of-network rate depending on your individual plan, but we cannot guarantee whether or how much your insurance company will reimburse you for your appointments, and our office does not communicate with insurance carriers on behalf of patients. Payment reimbursement is subject to your insurance plan. For those with Medicare and HMO coverage, a claim cannot be submitted.

When you schedule an appointment, that time is reserved especially for you. Therefore, Terra Soma Wellness requires that cancellations and scheduling changes be made at least 48 business hours (two business days) prior to the start of your scheduled appointment time. Cancellations or scheduling changes made at least 48 business hours in advance allow Dr. Garfinkle to accommodate others, allows for fair scheduling opportunities for all patients/clients, and allows Dr. Garfinkle to provide the best care possible for you.
For any cancellations and scheduling changes made less than 48 business hours prior to the start time of your scheduled appointment time, as well as any missed appointments (no-shows), your credit card on file will be charged 50% of the scheduled appointment’s fee. This charge is non-refundable and cannot be credited towards any future appointments.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please complete the cancellation/reschedule form through the self-scheduling feature in your Patient/Client Portal through Practice Better to ensure that your request is received. Email, text, phone, message, mail, or any other method besides the rescheduling tool on Practice Better is not an acceptable method for canceling or rescheduling.
If you miss a scheduled appointment and do not reschedule within 48 hours after the scheduled start time of your missed appointment, any pending follow-up reservations will be canceled.
